Paint in rural Ireland along the rugged landscape of North Mayo. Ballinglen is situated 3 miles to Downpatrick Head & 5 to Céide Fields. Work in ideal studios & have access to facilities which include a library, over 600 works of contemporary art, an exhibition gallery which can be used for lectures, critiques & projection of work or film. All classes are led by internationally recognised Ballinglen Fellows who know the area intimately & take you to the best places to work plein air & explore the beauty of this mythical country. Return to your workspace & capture the experience on canvas or paper with guidance. We invite you to leave your everyday behind & immerse yourself in an enriching, creative experience in this beautiful place & learn a new technique to expand your practise. Our reputation is renowned as artists have been coming here for over 20 years. Classes & Workshops available include tuition, food, accommodation with private bedroom. The Ballinglen Arts Foundation is a registered Irish Charity & is non-profit. It provides studios & accommodation for artists & gratefully accepts donations through it's website www.ballinglenartsfoundation.org
